Big Johninator is a secret boss in 7-1. He appears as a pale man with red, glowing eyes, wearing black and white camo military gear, carrying a red minigun and backpack.
Behavior
Big Johninator moves similarly to V2, alternating between the various attacks he has randomly. He will also randomly play one of his taunts during this attacks, which he does not stop attacking to say, unlike Gabriel.
Attacks
Rocket Barrage
Big Johninator will fire three rockets at the player, dealing big amounts of damage. These can be frozen with the Freezeframe and ridden in order to grant the +ROUNDTRIP bonus, just like the rockets from the Guttertank.
Malicious Blast
Big Johninator will fire an explosive beam similarly to the Malicious Face, including the charge-up, which cannot be parried. This can be chargebacked.
Landmine Drop
Big Johninator will drop a number of Landmines, ranging from 1-3. These work identically to how they do elsewhere, including the parry.
Strategy
As Big Johninator is not immune to his own rockets like the Guttertanks are, one can simply freeze them with the Freezeframe rocket launcher, allowing for him to run into them and eventually destroy himself.
Timing dashes right is crucial to defeating Big Johninator, making a wrong move can result in damage.
Explosions can knock him high in the air, use that to your advantage.
Placing a sawblade trap will deplete most of his health immediately, allowing for a quick kill with coins. Parrying landmines is also fun too!

Trivia
- Big Johninator has 24 voice lines, each taken from the game Rise of the Triad (2013). They were recorded by Dave Oshry for the boss Big John, and then edited to sound more "robotic".
- Big John is also referenced elsewhere in the game, as his face texture is a custom grid texture in The Cyber Grind.
- Big Johninator is the first boss that can be encountered in Act III, and likely the final joke boss of the entire game.
