Points (P) are the in-game currency used to buy new weapon variants and unlock custom weapon skins from Terminals.

Obtaining Points

Points are obtained when the end screen is shown upon exiting a level through an elevator or when dying in The Cyber Grind.
Having cheats or major assists enabled still awards all points.

Spending Points

Points can be spent at Terminals to buy new weapon variants, as well as unlocking custom skins for each weapon.

The current amount of points can be seen while in the Weapons category in the Shop Terminal.
If the player has more than 1,000,000,000 P, it will not display the actual number, instead reading, "LIKE, A LOT OF P".
